The second edition of Andrew D. Chumbley’s One: The Grimoire of the Golden Toad was released 15 September, 2025 twenty-five years after its first publication. Completing the bridge between the twentieth and twenty-first centuries, it remains a vital recension of the East Anglian ‘Toad-Bone ritual’, and a testament to the author’s spiritual path and personal vision of the Art Magical. The rite which inspired the text also served as a powerful point of reorientation for the Cultus Sabbati, purifying the hallowed ground of its Blood-acre and tessellating additional arcana for the text of The Auraeon, one of Chumbley’s final books.
At the present time, the 777 standard hardcover copies of One have arrived and have shipped to those who pre-ordered them. The deluxe and special editions of the book, enumerated 77 and 7 respectively, are currently in the hands of our esteemed bookbinder awaiting completion this Autumn.
